[Law-envtlcert] Tuition scholarships and other opportunities

Dear students interested in Environmental, Energy, Land Use, and Natural Resources Law,

The Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation (RMMLF) is an educational organization that covers the areas of natural resources, water, oil and gas, environmental, energy, and land use law, and the Florida State University College of Law is a constituent member of RMMLF. Please note the following reminders from RMMLF regarding opportunities for funding. Students from FSU Law have received tuition scholarships from RMMLF for the past three years (with one of the scholarships totaling approximately $10,000), and it is definitely worth perusing the requirements and considering applying by the February deadline noted below. Please also note the opportunity to organize a networking event with potential employers.

This gives them access to over 4,000 members of the Foundation that they can network with, as well as opportunities to get involved with our Young Professionals.


  *   Students at a Constituent Law School are eligible to apply for and receive<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.rmmlf.org/professors-and-students/scholarships__;!!PhOWcWs!mXK14hSeyJ42pBvCPJoxZO-kfppIb_3rnS9ayO0YjSil_gBFLK2N7KGohMa5dvlwDmE$> Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, Joe Rudd, Richard H. Bate,  Catherine J. Boggs, and Frances Hartogh Diversity Outreach scholarships awarded by the Foundation. Awards range in size from $1,000 to $10,000.  This year the Foundation budgeted over $270,000 in scholarships and since inception of the scholarships program the Foundation has awarded 584 scholarships totaling more than $3 million. Deadlines for JD students is February 28, 2020 and for LLM/SJD students the deadline is March 13, 2020.
