Please be advised that the EPO bypass switch test has been rescheduled to 8:30 am on Friday morning, January 12, 2024.
At 8:30 am on Friday morning, January 12, 2024, Orr Protection will be executing a test of the emergency power-off (EPO) bypass switch that was recently installed, to prevent possibility of recurrence of the power-off issue we experienced on October 10, 2021.
We have scheduled this additional test to provide us all with assurance that the remediation was successful, before resuming data center fire suppression system inspections.
Since we are testing a new switch that prevents execution of a power-off condition, we are very comfortable with executing this extremely low-risk test before the next fire suppression system inspection, and even more confident about its success.
After completion of the EPO bypass switch test, we will provide you all with a date and time of the next semi-annual inspection of the data center's fire suppression system.
Thanks,
Mitch
