I am pleased to share the nomination of Dr. Dillon Pruett, Assistant Professor in the School of Communication Science & Disorders, for membership as an ISL Faculty Affiliate.

Dr. Pruett brings an interdisciplinary research background spanning geroscience, human genetics, clinical informatics, and communication sciences. His early research focused on the molecular mechanisms of aging, while his current research integrates electronic health record data and large-scale genomic resources to study the genetics and health-related correlates of speech and communication disorders. His interests offer exciting opportunities for collaboration with ISL around healthy aging, communication health, precision medicine, and health data science.
