Dear ISL faculty affiliates, advisors, and friend,

I would like to take a moment to recognize and express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Lynn Panton as she prepares to retire this May and step down from her role as Associate Director of ISL.

Since taking on the Associate Director role in January 2024, Dr. Panton has provided outstanding leadership and unwavering support to ISL. Her contributions have been instrumental across many of our core activities, including advancing our outreach efforts, supporting the ISL Planning Grant program, and helping organize our Student Poster Day events. Beyond these visible efforts, she has been a thoughtful and dedicated partner in strengthening ISL's mission and community.

Dr. Panton's commitment to promoting successful aging, her collaborative spirit, and her willingness to step in wherever needed have made a lasting impact on our institute. We are deeply grateful for her service and the many ways she has helped ISL grow and thrive.

Please join me in thanking Dr. Panton for her tremendous contributions and in wishing her a joyful, healthy, and fulfilling retirement. We sincerely hope she will remain connected with ISL as part of our community moving forward! We will be looking for a new Associate Director for ISL soon.

With sincere gratitude,

Zhe He, PhD, FIAHSI, FAMIA
Director, Institute for Successful Longevity
Professor, School of Information
