[Isl] ISL Social Media Initiative and Spring Meetup on 4/22 at the iHub

Dear ISL Affiliates and friends,

I’m reaching out to share some exciting updates about our ISL social media initiative and ask for your support in helping us increase our visibility and impact.

As you may have noticed, with the help us our newly hired Outreach Assistant Victoria Valko, we have made tremendous progress with the social media initiative. Our primary goal with this campaign is to boost ISL’s presence to attract more research volunteers to join the ISL Volunteer Registry, raise public awareness of the positive impact of our research, and secure additional funding from public and private sectors. We believe that a strong social media presence will significantly help us reach these goals.

This summer, we will be launching a podcast series to feature the incredible work of our ISL affiliates and their labs. Additionally, we will be partnering with USPS to kick off a new volunteer registry campaign, aimed at expanding our community engagement and participation.

To support this effort, we have revamped our social media platforms and are now active on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky, YouTube, X (Twitter), and our ISL website. You can find and follow all our accounts via Linktree:
