Dear all,
CCI gladly invites you to attend a hybrid seminar by Dr. Gregor Stiglic, an Associate Professor and Head of the Research Institute at the University of Maribor (in Slovenia) Faculty of Health Science.
During Dr. Stiglic’s visit, he will be speaking on the topic of building interpretable AI models based on electronic health records (EHR) data for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus prediction and screening. Dr. Stiglic will discuss their success in bringing the prediction models closer to the healthcare experts by involving family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, patients, and computer science experts in the research process, and deploying the models in Slovenian primary healthcare. The current state of the art in interpretability of the prediction models will be demonstrated by examples from local and global model interpretability.
Come join us on September 13th from 11 A.M -12 P.M in the SSB Building Room 208, 218. If you are unable to physically be there, join us via zoom with the link below. Whether you decide to join us in person or via zoom, don’t forget to register for the event!
