Subject: Dr. Doug Seals Seminar for Trainees and Faculty

Hi Neil

The Nutrition and Integrative Physiology department is hosting Dr. Doug Seals on April 11.  Dr. Seals is a very established vascular physiologist from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and he will be giving two different seminars during his visit.  The first seminar (10 am on Monday April 11) is designed to give trainees (PhD students and post docs) an idea of what they should be doing to make themselves more marketable in their future careers.  The second seminar (4pm on Monday April 11) is designed to get faculty to think about their laboratories as a small business so that they can succeed over the long run.  Please pass the attached flyers to the faculty, students, and post-doctoral scholars in your department.  Anyone is welcome to attend these seminars, and they will both be held at the Claude Pepper Center Auditorium on the FSU campus.  Thanks.
