Hi Folks:

Some clarification from Laurel Fulkerson about that earlier federal vaccine mandate, below:

FSU intends to comply with federal vaccine requirements for contractors for specific, covered individuals in order to protect our current and future federal contracts.  We will work with affected centers and individuals as contract amendments occur. We are aware that legal challenges are pending which may affect the timing of the implementation of vaccine requirements. We continue to monitor these challenges closely.

Dear Neil:

A quick note to say we are monitoring this centrally; below is some language I'd like to ask you to send out to your list to further clarify the message you sent earlier this week:

FSU intends to comply with federal vaccine requirements for contractors for specific, covered individuals in order to protect our current and future federal contracts.  We will work with affected centers and individuals as contract amendments occur. We are aware that legal challenges are pending which may affect the timing of the implementation of vaccine requirements. We continue to monitor these challenges closely.

And please also note that the requirements, if and when they come into effect, will cover federal contracts and not grants, and only as amendments to those contracts occur.  This is a significantly smaller number of employees and we are compiling a list.
