Subject: Dissertation Fellowship Program in Retirement Research

Neil,

Good morning. Boston College is offering dissertation fellowships "...in retirement or disability research. The program is funded by a grant from the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) through the Retirement and Disability Research Consortium (RDRC). The program's purpose is to promote the next generation of scholars in retirement or disability policy research and to improve the quality of scholarship in retirement and disability research studies. Historically underserved or underrepresented individuals are encouraged to apply. Research focal areas include:

  1.  Trends in disability;
  2.  Work in the modern economy;
  3.  Disabled beneficiaries and return-to-work;
  4.  Informing long-term projections and models;
  5.  Improving communication and outreach;
  6.  Economic security of SSA beneficiaries;
  7.  Disparities by race and ethnicity;
  8.  Improving service delivery.

This isn't something that the Foundation needs to be involved with. But, I thought I would pass it along in case there's interest and in case it helps.
Best,
David
