Dr. Delp, professor of Biomedical Sciences in the College of Medicine, spoke on “The Impact of Muscle Stretch Training on Mobility in Older Adults.”

Dr. Delp’s research focuses on cardiovascular adaptations to aging and exercise training. Her work looks at adaptations of the microcirculation in the heart and skeletal muscle that occur with aging and how exercise training can reverse the microvascular dysfunction that occurs with advancing age.
