Good morning,  AARP is making grants available under the program above for up to $300,000 over two years The funds grant projects that align with its mission and strategic objectives. These projects may be classified as Education, Outreach, and Field-Building.

  *   Education: Projects that facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, beliefs, and habits pertaining to older adults with low income (e.g. training, instructional material development).
  *   Outreach: Projects designed to increase awareness of and access to services and resources that help older adults with low income.
  *   Field-Building: Projects that may not directly serve low-income older adults, but advance the work of one or more organizations serving older adults with low income to achieve measurable and sustainable results (i.e., infrastructure support, capacity building).
This funding opportunity is primarily intended for national or regional organizations with built-in distribution channels, such as affiliates, members, chapters or collaborative partnerships.
