Federal and state statutes and regulations require that notices of rights and privileges be provided to employees and/or posted in the workplace. The Office of Human Resources will conduct its annual Labor Law Compliance Poster Audit from July 20, 2026, to July 31, 2026, to ensure institutional compliance. During this time, some departments will be visited by an HR representative for an on-site review. Please take the opportunity to review all compliance posters and locations to ensure they are current and compliant. Current compliance posters are on the Human Resources website. Click on each listing to download and print each poster. Key components of poster compliance: Location * Compliance posters should be in a conspicuous location that is accessible to all employees. * Ideal locations are the building's lobby or a central corridor; break rooms are also acceptable. * Multiple posting locations within a building are only needed if the site is not accessible to all employees. If departments share building space, please coordinate with the other Department Representatives to determine where each department's compliance posters are located or whether a central location is shared. Format Posters must meet minimum size and font requirements. Shrinking the posters or font size compromises compliance. Many postings have strict color and/or layout requirements that cannot be altered. Cutting corners by shrinking postings or not printing in color can result in noncompliance. Language The state of Florida requires that certain postings also be displayed in Spanish, regardless of the languages spoken by your employees. Questions? Below is a list of pending approvals in OMNI. Although the deadline for approvals is noon today (EST), we are providing advance notice of any approvals still pending at approximately 11:30 a.m. so they can be completed by noon, ensuring your first Cost Center Report is more accurate. Unapproved time and leave entries will not appear on the Cost Center Report. Please note that the "Pending Approvals" number reflects the entries needing approval, not separate employees. The data is intentionally conveyed in this manner so you know how many time entry approvals require your attention. For example, if an employee reported 3 days of vacation, that employee's unapproved time will be counted 3 times, so that you know how many entries you should approve. This is especially helpful if the leave was taken over multiple workweeks. As you are aware, if each entry for an individual employee is not approved or corrected, the employee's pay will be affected. Questions? Contact an Attendance & Leave representative.
