[HRMS] OPS Minimum Wage Increase

An important message from FSU Office of Human Resources

This message has been approved by Shelley Lopez, Director, Communications/Training & Organizational Development, for distribution to all Department Representatives.
This is a reminder that effective September 30, 2025, the new Florida minimum hourly rate is $14.00. In November 2020, Florida voters approved incremental increases to the state's minimum wage, which will be $15 an hour by September 2026.
Employers must implement the following hourly minimum wage schedule:

September 30, 2022
$11.00
September 30, 2023
$12.00
September 30, 2024
$13.00
September 30, 2025
$14.00
September 30, 2026
$15.00

All OPS employees making less than $14.00 per hour will be systematically increased in OMNI HR. Employee actions with an effective date of September 30, 2025, or after should be appointed at the new hourly rate.

A follow-up communication will be sent out when the State Labor Law Poster is available to be updated.
