An important message from FSU Office of Human Resources

This message has been approved by Shelley Lopez, Program Director, Communications/Special Projects, for distribution to all Department Representatives.
In follow-up to our previous communication<https://hr.fsu.edu/article/tallahassee-future-leaders-academy-1>, please submit your requests for TFLA participation by Friday, March 1.

The TFLA program is sponsored by the City of Tallahassee, which partners with area organizations to provide summer jobs for local youth (ages 15-19). The program provides community youth with work experience, professional development, and mentorship.

If your department is interested, please email a brief statement of interest to the contact listed below outlining:
*        Your department's interest in hosting a TFLA student.
*        The nature of the job you will provide. Note: you must have availability to host from June 10 to July 26 for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
*        The anticipated learning outcomes<http://career.fsu.edu/tfla> related to leadership and professional development from your position.
*        Contact information of someone who will serve as the student's supervisor.
