An important message from FSU Office of Human Resources

This message has been approved by Christine Conley, Senior Associate Director of Attendance & Leave, for distribution to all Department Representatives.

Due to the amended winter break, the payroll schedules for pay period 'L' (ending 12/9/21) and pay period 'M' (ending 12/23/21) must be accelerated. Employees and supervisors should enter and approve time by the deadlines outlined below. Departments should ensure a representative is available during processing to review payroll reports and address any errors identified. Since the University will be closed for two weeks, departments must ensure their department payrolls are accurate, and employees are paid timely. No off-cycle paychecks will be available for pay period 'L.' Any off-cycle requests for 'M' will not be processed until January 3, 2022, for direct deposit into employees' accounts on Tuesday, January 4.

Payroll Schedule 'L' Overview (Paycheck Date 12/17/21):
Tuesday, 12/7/21 - Time Entry Deadline
Wednesday, 12/8/21 - Approvals Deadline and First Cost Center Report in myFSU BI
Thursday, 12/9/21 - Second Cost Center Report and 10:30 a.m. Case Deadline
Friday, 12/10/21 - Final Cost Center Report

  *   Annual Compensatory Leave Payouts will appear on the Second Cost Center

Monday, 12/13/21 - Time Entry Deadline
Tuesday, 12/14/21 - Approvals Deadline and First Cost Center Report in myFSU BI
Wednesday, 12/15/21 - Second Cost Center Report and 10:30 a.m. Case Deadline
Thursday, 12/16/21 - Final Cost Center Report

During the two-week winter break holiday, there will be limited monitoring of myFSU Service Center cases. All inquiries should be sent before 5:00 p.m. on December 17, 2021. Otherwise, you can anticipate a response when the University reopens on January 3, 2022.
