An important message from FSU Office of Human Resources

This message has been approved by Shelley Lopez, Program Director, Communications/Special Projects, for distribution to all Department Representatives.
We are happy to announce two enhancements to the ePAF+ module. The enhancements allow Department Representatives additional options to make changes or terminate OPS one-time pay records and submit ePAF+ actions in advance of an employee's hire date.
One-Time Pay Records
OPS One-Time Pay Appointments are now included in the ePAF+ module. The option is now listed as a search type in the ePAF drop-down menu. You can submit an ePAF to terminate an unused record or make updates to appointment details including location, department number, job code, or supervisor. To access, select "One-Time Pay Appointment" as the ePAF type.

Future-Dated Appointments
Future-Dated Appointments are now included in the ePAF+ module. You can submit an ePAF to update a future-dated record after the appointment has been processed fully through Smart Onboarding and in advance of the hire date. Changes or corrections to appointment details such as pay rate, OPS job code, and supervisor or funding details can be entered in advance. To access, select "Yes" in the Future-Dated hire section when searching for a record on the "Enter ePAF" screen.

Please note, hire date changes cannot be submitted through ePAF. The effective date of the action must be the date of hire or later.
