[Hpc-notice] REMINDER: New storage system deployment; downtime Dec 26 - 30

Hi RCC users,

This is a reminder of the upcoming downtime for our planned storage system upgrade during the week of December 26 - 30.

One important change since we sent our first notice on November 7 is that we will need to perform an important software upgrade to our Export servers. This will affect the Research Archival Storage system, which will be offline starting Monday, December 26 at 8am. We hope to have that service restored before the end of the week, and we will post an announcement as soon as it is back online.

The Slurm scheduler will stop accepting new jobs at 5pm on Friday, December 23. All running jobs will be killed at 8am on Monday, December 26.
