Applicants should have experience working with children and a passion for science education. All of our staff and volunteers must complete a Level 2 background screening. Over the course of the summer, MoLab offers 44 weekly sessions for PreK5 through the 8th grade. Each week presents a new set of themes and offers students an opportunity to be engaged in fun, hands-on STEAM discovery experiences. The summer guide is attached as an overview of the program and to view the weekly offerings. The positions that MoLab is hiring for are: * Lead Camp Instructor: Lead instructors design and deliver the week's curriculum based on the description of the session. Some camp instructors sign up to teach for several weeks and others are with us for a week or two. Lead Instructors work approximately 40 hours a week. Most of our camps have previous material to use as a guide. * Camp Assistant: The camp assistant works 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break. This position assists in each classroom as needed. In the case of a teacher not being able to make it to work, the assistant fills in as a substitute. * Post Camp Facilitator: The post camp facilitator will work from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. supervising campers enrolled in after care. This position is available from May 27 - June 20. * Camp Supply Coordinator: The supply coordinator works 8 hours a week on Thursdays and Fridays. Their responsibility is to return unused materials from the current week and gather supplies for the following week. The position requires excellent organizational skills and transportation (includes a gas stipend). This position works closely with the Camp Directors.
