[FSU IRB] UPDATES: (1) IRB-related COVID-19 FAQs Posted and (2) New Consent Templates

Dear FSU research colleagues,



Please be aware of some updates that may be relevant to your research activities.



First, a list of IRB-related COVID-19 FAQs has been posted to the FSU Office for Human Subjects Protection (OHSP) web site. Go to https://www.research.fsu.edu/research-offices/ohsp/ and look under Important Announcements for the FAQs. More FAQs may be posted as questions are received and merit wider dissemination.



Second, new consent templates especially for social, behavioral and education research (SBER) have been developed. These templates are now available through the RAMP IRB system<https://myramp.research.fsu.edu/>; after you sign in, you may find the templates under the IRB, Library and Templates tabs. The SBER templates are also available through the OHSP web site; go to  https://www.research.fsu.edu/research-offices/ohsp/investigator-resources/templates-and-required-forms/ and look under Consent Templates.
