[FSU IRB] RAMP IRB 9.0 Upgrade

[FSU Institutional Review Board]

RAMP IRB will have a new look and enhanced features as FSU implements an upgrade to the system on Friday, October 18 after business hours.  The upgrade is required in order for FSU to launch other non-IRB modules for research-related uses. Below is a summary of the significant changes to the software:

  *   Improved SmartForms
     *   Simplified and enhanced SmartForm usability
     *   Increased productivity of user viewing, editing and printing of SmartForms
     *   Improved accessibility
  *   Common Rule Updates
     *   Expanded Regulatory Authority Labels, including:
        *   Pre-2018 Requirements
        *   2018 Requirements + FDA
        *   2018 Requirements + DOJ
        *   2018 Requirements + FDA + DOJ
        *   2018 Requirements

o   Functionality to accommodate additional workflow scenarios related to Common Rule changes

  *   Activity navigation will now appear on the left side panel of the screen


Please note that RAMP IRB will be unavailable on Friday, October 18 at 5:00 pm for approximately 5 hours.  It is advised that you save any work and log out of the system before this time.
