We would like to share important information at this time as we prepare to transition from HSRS to the RAMP IRB module. Throughout the testing sessions, training workshops and attendance at faculty meetings, we have listened to your feedback on the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) Toolkit templates. Based on the feedback concerning the Protocol template, a clean version without instructional language is now available for use. Please review the following information and resources available to equip you with the necessary tools to successfully navigate the new RAMP IRB system. Training Protocol Writing Workshop recording is available on the Human Subjects Office website. Other webinars are also posted to provide guidance on using the resources contained within the Toolkit. Access these training resources by clicking here. FAQs for the Toolkit are available on the RAMP project website and by clicking here. RAMP IRB Researcher Training Workshops are currently offered to all individuals involved in human subjects research. These workshops walk participants through the process of completing the online system prompts and provide ample opportunity for questions and answers. Although in-person attendance is strongly encouraged, a recorded workshop will be available in the near future. Below are the remaining workshop dates at this time. We are excited to offer a robust new system that provides enhanced functionality to support researchers conducting human subjects research. RAMP IRB is now required for new submissions, modifications, reportable new information and continuing reviews. Following are the resources available and what you need to know to ensure you are well equipped to use RAMP IRB. RAMP IRB Training Videos If you haven't attended the RAMP IRB training workshops, or if you need a refresher, we have posted segmented videos on the Human Subjects Office website. These videos cover the topics included in the workshop and the short version of topics will allow you to focus on a particular area of interest. We encourage you to access these videos as many times as needed to help you understand how to navigate the RAMP IRB system. The videos can be viewed by clicking here. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) We have documented the questions asked in various faculty meetings and RAMP IRB Training Workshops. The compilation of these questions, along with the respective answers, can be accessed on the RAMP project website, or by clicking here. We will update these FAQs periodically as we track questions that arise in the future to make certain the information provided is helpful. If you have questions or need further assistance, please email RAMP-IRB at fsu.edu. This email is checked frequently and a knowledgeable staff member will promptly assist you. We ask that you email rather than call in order for the team to document the types of questions asked to provide relevant updates to training resources and FAQs.
