[Fla-facrlboard] FACRL Membership Committee document updates

Dear FACRL Board Colleagues,

See you soon.  Don't worry about reviewing it right now, but below, in Lauri's email, are some important updates from the Membership Committee, which I will briefly summarize today.  We have been busy!

In particular, there will be 3 action items, which can be handled via email after the meeting today.

  *   Approval of outgoing e-mail to lapsed members.
  *   Approval of Google Form to provide ACRL documentation.
  *   Discussion of an urgent need to increase membership-levels on Wild Apricot to 750 (Maybe we can offer them $100 a month?) Hello all,

I believe I have completed various edits to the Excel document and to the letter.

You will notice in Google docs that the original Excel document looks blank in the drive (little picture).  It’s not. Just click on it and the everything on the document appears. I don’t know why that happened especially since the Copy of this Excel document looks populated. (I got nervous about losing the original so I just created a copy.)

I have edited the letter we intend to email to those whose membership with us dwindled.

·         I put the FACRL logo on the letter (maybe not in the right spot or is not suitable on a letter) and then gave a general salutation (we can remove ‘ …from FACRL Membership Committee).

·         The link for the form is included.

·         Please let me know if the formatting of the paragraphs that describes what you do if you renewed with ACRL and what you do if you chose not to renew is clearly delineated.

·         I did not say in the letter to block out information that someone might not want exposed. This was mentioned in the form.

Any edits from you all is fine, just go for it.  (I am renown for leaving out words if I can’t proof read something from a paper copy. Without a printer, this is not possible.)

Thanks everyone. Laurie once you have to chance to look it all over in the next day or 2, let me know when you have time to meet on Thurs. It’s not an absolute that we need to meet if you are swamped and just as easily talk to me via email.
