The announcement looks good to me, thank you for working on it. Google Forms could also be used instead of Survey Monkey. It can be easier in terms of access since only one person can access the Survey Monkey account.

Subject: Call for Nominations to the FACRL Board

The FACRL Board is seeking nominations from the membership for five positions that will become available in 2021:

  *   President-Elect (Term: 2021-2024)
  *   Communications Manager (Term: 2021-2023)
  *   Board Member at Large
     *   3 vacancies (Term: 2021– 2023)

All terms begin and end at the adjournment of the annual Florida Library Association annual conference.

Membership Requirements: Nominees for the office of President-elect must maintain active ACRL member status. Members of ACRL are automatically members of FACRL. All other nominees are encouraged to possess ACRL membership, but must at the minimum, maintain active FACRL membership status. General Service Expectations: Monthly meetings of the Board are conducted via conference call. In addition, in typical years there are two in-person meetings, one held during the fall at the FACRL annual conference and the other in the Spring during the FLA annual conference. In addition, the Board may convene as needed to address urgent issues and Board representation at meetings of various FACRL subcommittees may also be required.

Nominations are due by Jan. 29, 2021. To submit nominations, please visit (new SurveyMonkey link). Self-nominations are welcome. If nominating someone else, please seek their permission prior to submitting their name for consideration. If you wish to nominate more than one person for each position, please submit the survey again.
