Hi all,
Agreed with the $1000 match. If we exceed that amount in donations we can probably review our ability to be more generous.
Also, apologies for not getting information about FSU’s efforts back to you all yet.
FSU has set up two emergency funds http://foundation.fsu.edu/hurricane-michael-how-help.
One is specifically dedicated to “benefit faculty, staff and students at FSU Panama City”, while the other is a general relief fund. On the above page there are also a few other organizations listed that would benefit from donations.
Our EAP has an Emergeny Loan Fund that we could donate to. “The EAP administers FSU’s Emergency Loan Fund (ELF) which was established to aid employees facing unexpected financial emergencies. If eligible, an individual may receive an interest-free loan of up to $1,500”
Best regards,
M

Hi all,
I’d like to move forward with this campaign before we lose any post-conference momentum. I suggest that we offer matching up to $1000—we can afford more than that, I suspect, but I think that’s a good place to start. What do you all think?
