[Fla-facrlboard] Draft of Amendment for Articles of Incorporation for SunBiz-PLEASE REVIEW

Good Morning,

As promised, attached is the draft of the Amendment for Articles document for the non-profit transition to be filed with the state. Thank you to Becky and Kim for your feedback! A few points:

  *   I located the original non-profit filing document and it only requires we list the officers. The original incorporators were those in office at the time of the filing. You’ll notice a removal and addition of names, and officer title on page 2 (and on the 2nd attachment, only page 2).
  *   Once we’ve filed and receive the stamp of approval from the state, I will begin transitioning all association mailing communication and financial ties to the FLA mailing address
  *   The registered agent is the person filing the paperwork on behalf of the organization. The original documents were filed by Nora Quinlan, the president at the time. I’ll inquire if it matters who is filing on behalf of the association as long as they are in one of the roles identified on the document

I’d like to have this document Board approved at our Thursday meeting. Please send me all feedback by Wednesday, end of day so I can make any necessary changes before then.
