As we navigate evolving campus needs, we want to ensure our middle managers have the practical tools they need to address everyday challenges. To support this goal, ASERL, FLVC, and LIRN have developed the Florida Library Middle Manager Intensive, a workshop designed to help managers tackle current library challenges using a practical design-thinking framework.
What makes this two-day workshop unique is its focus on building statewide learning communities while providing an affordable professional development opportunity for middle managers who may not traditionally attend leadership programs. By connecting with peers facing similar challenges across Florida, participants will gain fresh perspectives, actionable strategies, and practical solutions they can bring back to their organizations.
