Position requires a Master's degree from an ALA accredited program.

Description: The Press HPD Library is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Emerging Technologies & Collection Development Librarian. The successful candidate will bring initiative, teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm for supporting teaching and learning at HPD Library through broad collaboration and active participation.  The Emerging Technologies Librarian will get an opportunity to collaborate and work with students and faculty in various health sciences programs.  The Emerging Technologies Librarian will implement and lead inter-departmental partnerships for projects related to library initiatives involving 3D printing, virtual reality, studio recording, and occasional reference help to students and faculty.  This librarian will also work closely with Technical Services staff on Collection Development to acquire and maintain all library resources and serves as primary contact for vendors and publishers.
