Responsible for providing library resources to library patrons, faculty, staff and administrators in support of an intellectual climate for academic growth.

Minimum Education:

  *   ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library or Information Science required.
Minimum Experience/Training:

  *   Minimum four years of successful and increasingly responsible professional level experience working in technical services.
  *   Minimum three years of management/supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  *   In depth knowledge of cataloging and metadata schemas and standards, such as RDA, AACR2, LCSH, MARC, OCLC, EAD, MODS, and Dublin Core.
  *   Knowledge of current practice, trends, and standards in all operations of technical services.
  *   Knowledge of automated library management systems.
  *   Models inclusive excellence through specific actions that support the College’s diversity goals in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of talented and diverse faculty and staff.
  *   Ability to manage materials budgets and allocations.
  *   Extensive functional knowledge and expertise in all aspects of own and related areas of the College, and pertinent interdependencies.
Location: Central Campus (Davie, FL)
Salary: $64,865 - $74,595
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours Per Week: 37.5
