If you are a Film School alum, have you joined the FSUFILM Pub? If not, hope you will jump on now – lots of jobs posted there this week. If you don’t have your invitation, email Brenda Mills (bmills at fsu.edu<mailto:bmills at fsu.edu>) and she will get you started!

From Erich Boettcher (MFA Writing 14) “One journey ends and another one begins. My family and I are very excited about this opportunity and what lies ahead. Starting this Monday, I will take on the role as a Production Coordinator - English Services - Dubbing and Subtitles at Pixelogic Media. Keep that professional hustle hand strong and pivot when necessary.”

From David Schmeling: “Some Kind of Help”, a script Pasquarelli and me, has been selected by the Cannes International Cinema Film Festival! A crusading do-gooder consultant winds up in a tiny Caribbean Island where his MBA is no match for jungle magic and a West Indian woman who teaches him that his kind of help is the kind of help we all can do without.

From Nikki Groton (BFA 11) “My feature screenplay HURRICANE HENNLEY has made the semifinals of the Film Fatales Stowe Story Labs!

From James Feeney (MFA 12) “Through my work with San Bernardino County, I recently had the honor of a county hospital decorating one of their wings with 30 framed prints of my photographs! It was the coolest thing walking down those hallways! I truly hope that these San Bernardino County views may help to brighten a patient's day.”
