Barry Jenkins (BFA 03) will be the guest director of the 2021 Telluride Film Festival<https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t/telluride-film-festival/>, marking a coming home of sorts for the filmmaker, who swept up popcorn while working as a production apprentice at the prestigious Colorado event in the early 2000s, before returning in 2016 for the first public screening of his best picture winning film, Moonlight. From Kristian Kamp (MFA 98) “Happy to report from Norway that we, SAGATOON, are in pre-production of our second CG animated feature film "LUDOLF LEMMING GOES TO ANGER ACADEMY" (family film). We plan to go into full animation production in February 2022 in Canada, with a finished film in fall 2023. Christmas 2023 release. Sola-Media in Germany are handeling world-wide sales and distribution. I'm directing, co-writer, and producer. Budget is USD 12 million.”
