From Sara Karimipour (MFA 18) “I'm the Script Coordinator for the third season of Ryan's Mystery Playdate on Nick Jr.! Excited to see what this season brings!”

Froom Zana Bochar (BFA 07) “I've been lucky enough to work as an assistant editor on the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel for the past three seasons. Getting onto the show was a dream come true because I've always loved the Palladinos. The crew is great and very supportive, so supportive that I got to co-edit the 7th episode of season 3! I'm working on some other things right now that I can't take about yet, but all exciting and promising!”

David Robert Mitchell's (MFA 02)  Under the Silver Lake is listed;

Aaron Moorhead (BFA 08) produced a new horror film that is getting a limited release on valentines day 2020https://bloody-disgusting.com/indie/3598299/heartfelt-creature-feature-midnight-gets-valentines-day-release-trailer/

From Beth Brandon Jensen (MFA Writing 06) “After ten awesome years working as a Reality TV producer, I took a hiatus on the search for more flexibility and family balance. I spent the past two years freelance writing from home, teaching myself social media management, blog and SEO writing, and content creation for the internet. Last week I accepted a full time work-from-home-or-office-position as a social media customer care specialist and copywriter for Princess Cruises. It's an awesome opportunity with a fantastic growing team and I'm thrilled to say it checks all my boxes for career goals, life/work balance, and still feeds my passion for writing and creativity.

From Adriel Conde (BFA10 ) “ I’m very proud to present my latest music video I directed with the talented Tristan Collins Wood of the amazing Lloyd Carter Band’s new single “Autumn Leaves”. See the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHkilgr2irA&fbclid=IwAR1d3hPn5arqBab-fFPMhSxFGU80fXLbRcBriz1t0Bz0RoC8x36UYBuL5ag

From Susan Shackelford Dawes (MFA 93) “Happy news! Jojo Rabbit's nominated for Dialogue/ADR and for Music editing, whoo-hoo! Big Congrats to all the nominees!” Susan was Supervising ADR/Dialog Editor on Jo Jo.

From Hunter McGarry (MFA 19) “Very happy to officially announce that I accepted a contractor role at Epic Games. North Carolina, here I come!

From Michelle Cantor Rynders (BFA 06) “just took a position a few weeks ago as a project analyst at Southwestern Ohio Regional Transit Authority in Cincinnati after spending almost three years at the MBTA in Boston.” Michelle just completed a Master’s in Public Administration at Ohio University.

From Steve Aaron (actor in many of our student films): “On Thanksgiving Day, in a moment, my life changed. While riding a dirt bike on an asphalt road, let’s just say I took a tumble. After two surgeries and eight days at the TMH Trauma Center, I was sent home. I feel I was spared. While my injuries are serious, I will make a full recovery in about three or four months. This accident could have been so much worse. I want to thank all my friends, my family, anyone, and everyone who said a prayer for me or sent their love. It’s been humbling, and has meant so much for my recovery.” You can contact Steve via his Facebook page.

Jacqueline Xerri (BFA 19) is writing and directing a new short film titled Monkey Bars. This twisted coming-of-age story follows a 14-year-old girl trapped between reality and a lucid nightmare as she embarks on a risky night out with friends. Our crew currently consists of FSU alums: Rob Bevis (BFA 18), Grayson Goga (BFA 18), Raymond Knudsen (BFA 19), Stephen Musumeci (BFA 19), Patrick Saxer (BFA 18), and Grace Stalley (BFA 18). To kick off pre-production, we’ve launched our Kickstarter today! To distinguish between reality and dreams, we are shooting in multiple formats and need to cover the cost of 16mm film and an ARRI Alexa camera package. Donations will also cover the costs for food, production design and music licensing.
