Key Responsibilities
Responsible for fostering independent learning by supporting students in developing learning strategies and reviewing concepts taught in class. Provides individual tutoring and organized study group sessions. Collaborates with supervisors in the review and development of lab resources and programming.

Minimum Qualifications

  *   Associate’s degree within the subject area related to the position
     *   Acceptable education required in one of the following related areas: English, Secondary Education or greater, Communication, Journalism, TESOL, Reading, Developmental Education, Language Arts, Business, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, or other related discipline.
  *   One year of related experience

Preferred, but not a must:

  *   Experience with English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and/or TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) ​
  *   Experience with remote tutoring
