Requirements
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:

  *   Valid Florida driver’s license
  *   Requires travel between campus locations (weekly hours are shared between Loxahatchee Groves and Belle Glade campuses)

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for fostering independent learning by supporting students in developing learning strategies and reviewing concepts taught in class. Provides individual tutoring and organized study group sessions. Collaborates with supervisors in the review and development of lab resources and programming.

Minimum Qualifications

  *   Associate’s degree within the subject area related to the position
     *   Acceptable education required in one of the following related areas: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Business, Economics, Actuarial Science, Science, Astronomy, Secondary Education or greater, Engineering, Computer Science, Anatomy & physiology, Accounting, Biology, or other related discipline.
  *   One year of related experience

Preferred, but not a must:

  *   Experience with Mathematics/STEM education ​
  *   Experience with remote tutoring
