[FCLCA] SI Regional Training in Florida!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share some information regarding our SI Regional Training happening this December, in Florida!

  *   When: December 5-6, 2024, 8:30 AM ET - 5:00 PM ET

  *   Where: Florida Atlantic University

  *   What: Regional SI Supervisor Training

     *   This interactive in-person training addresses the topics and objectives necessary for the SI Supervisor certificate including: procedures for selecting SI courses and SI Leaders; roles of supervisors and leaders; evaluation and funding of the program; training and supervision of SI Leaders; theoretical frameworks underlying the SI model; and effective learning strategies and SI session activities.

     *   In addition to full participation resulting in the SI Supervisor certificate of completion, those who complete the training will receive reproducible copies of the SI Supervisor Manual and The Leader's Guide to Supplemental Instruction.
