The Center for the Advancement of Teaching at Florida State University seeks a teaching consultant to support faculty across disciplines in their teaching. Responsibilities include developing and facilitating professional development opportunities for faculty; holding one-on-one consultations with faculty; giving feedback on course materials and teaching practices; developing teaching resources; contributing to our Learning Assistants (LA) Program, including by teaching LA Seminar; contributing to program assessment, including by collecting data; and other duties as required. A successful candidate will model and promote evidence-based, learning-centered, and inclusive teaching, and demonstrate a strong commitment to social justice.
