[FCLCA] Private Tutoring Contracts?

Hi Sara,

At FAU we had considered several outside vendors over the years. We had our faculty (mainly from math, science, and writing) do mock sessions (we got logins and they got to go into actually online tutoring sessions) and they were disappointed with the quality of the tutoring received. Without faculty buy-in, we opted to keep everything in-house.

Hello to my colleagues across the state!  I have a quick question - an "ask" from my Provost's Office.  Please reply and let me know if you have contracted with one or more private tutoring companies to augment your learning center services at your institution.  Specifically, for each contract:

What is the name of the company?
What types of tutoring services are provided?  (online or face-to-face or other)
What kinds of courses, in the most general terms? (any course, selected courses, only courses not tutored in the university learning center, writing courses only, etc.)
