We are collaborating with FSU Libraries to bring the FSU Research community hands-on experience with RCC technologies. The remaining workshops are: * Sept 28 - Intro to Python on the HPC * Oct 19 - Intro to "R" Sliger Maintenance September Update Construction at the Sliger Data Center is still on-going, but expected to be completed in the Fall. Research Spotlight: Scott Stagg Dr. Scott Stagg, FSU researcher and chemistry/biochemistry professor, uses a special technique called cryo-electron microscopy (CryoEM) to create three-dimensional structures of these molecules to better learn how they make bonds, break bonds, assemble and disassemble. RCC partners with CIMES & Engineering to recycle can rings The Research Computing Center has partnered with the Center for Information Management and Educational Services (CIMES) and FAMU/FSU College of Engineering Resilient Infrastructure & Disaster Response (RIDER) Center to designate the Sliger Building a collection center to recycle can rings that would otherwise be sent to the landfill.
