David Zierden: Tornadoes in Florida - a Climatological Perspective

Description: In this talk we will review many aspects of the occurrence 
of tornadoes in the State of Florida and the greater U.S. This will 
include the climatology of tornadoes in the State, significant events, 
and a discussion of waterspouts versus tornadoes. The current science on 
the role of climate variability and climate change on patterns of 
tornado occurrence will also be explored.
