Hi all,
As you plan your Spring 2022 semesters, here are a couple of things to keep in mind:
Have you selected a minor? https://www.academic-guide.fsu.edu/minors
Are you on track to graduate within the "excess credit counter" threshold? Excess credit hours are calculated differently depending on whether you entered FSU before 2019 or after, so be sure you're getting the information that applies to you: https://registrar.fsu.edu/records/excess_hours/
Have you checked with Arts & Sciences that you are on track for graduation? This online requirement check is usually initiated when you reach 75 credits (generally in your junior year), and you receive an automated email to complete it (which links you to https://artsandsciences.fsu.edu/students/academic-progress-check).
If you're planning to graduate this spring and you wish to reach out to your Academic Dean’s Office for verification of graduation requirements, email as-advising at fsu.edu<mailto:as-advising at fsu.edu> with your specific questions once your final Spring 2022 schedule is in place.
If you will complete all your degree requirements in Spring 2022, be sure to apply for graduation via my.fsu.edu<https://www.my.fsu.edu/> starting Jan 28.
As ever, be in touch with any questions or if you'd like to meet this week or next. Best wishes,
Prof. Clark
