The Beginning Latin instruction team is instituting what we hope will be a new part of our departmental culture: Mensa Latina. Mensa Latina is a free Latin tutoring service located outside the Thompson Library. Anyone with Latin chops sufficient to help Beginning Latin students is invited to volunteer their time at the Mensa Latina. Volunteers commit to sit at a table outside Thompson during your scheduled slot. To kick off this new tradition, I am sitting at the Mensa Latina every Wednesday morning from 8 to 9 am.
