Dear all,

Please join our Classics community next Wednesday (Sept. 8), 5:00-6:00 PM, in the open area behind Dodd Hall (facing Jefferson Street), for our annual, introductory event! All are welcome.

We'll have faculty introductions, an overview of department events and clubs, a chance to chat informally, and individually-packaged refreshments for you to take away with you.

In the event of light rain, we will have handouts and snacks, and a shorter round of introductions, in the covered area adjacent to Dodd Hall Auditorium (if truly inclement weather, we will hold the event over Zoom, with a notification coming through these same email lists).

We are delighted to hold this event in person, but ask you to respect the University's expectations for masking and social distancing, and to act to promote one another's safety and to acknowledge individual needs (and preferences) with regard to mitigating the transmission of COVID-19.
