[CEHHS-grad] Graduate Student Resource Center: Upcoming Events and Programming

Good evening, CEHHS Graduate Students.

The University’s Graduate Student Resource Center and The FSU Career Center are partnering to offer a Graduate Student Resource Fair on Thursday, September 12, from 4pm to 6pm at the Dunlap Success Center. Representatives from organizations all over campus and beyond will attend, and they can help you with various aspects of being a graduate student at FSU.   Students who visit all of the vendors will be eligible for a free piece of professional clothing from the Career Center’s Clothing Closet and will be entered for a chance to win a new iPad. Students will also be able to have their photo taken at the Career Center’s professional photo booth.  More information is found in the attached PDF.

Additionally, the Graduate Student Resource Center is hosting a Mentors in the Making Workshop for graduate students, September 18, from 1:30-3:30 at HSF 3008. Participants will learn key behaviors for effective research mentoring and mentee-ship, including maintaining effective communication and aligning expectations.
