Greetings, COE Graduate Students!
Please see the information below from Dr. Jeff Phillips, the FSU Libraries liaison for the College of Education.
FSU Libraries is happy to announce that they are having our first in-person Dissertation and Thesis Boot Camp and Writing Retreat in two years! This semester’s retreat is catered towards new students, but there will also be some great events—and a social hour—for returning students. The event starts next week on September 6.
If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Phillips directly at jbphillips at fsu.edu<mailto:jbphillips at fsu.edu>. Please do not reply to this listserv email.

FSU Libraries is excited to invite all FSU masters and doctoral students to the Fall Dissertation and Thesis Boot Camp and Writing Retreat! The four-day Boot Camp provides graduate students with valuable knowledge to help them complete their dissertations and thesis. The two-day Writing Retreat creates a writing community where attendees can write alongside their peers. The Dissertation and Thesis Boot Camp and Writing Retreat is a great opportunity for graduate students to expand their research community, learn valuable skills, and meet other graduate students.
After two years of this event being online, it is returning to an in-person format! The ten instructional sessions and two days of writing sessions will be held in the Bradley Reading Room at Strozier Library from Tuesday, 9/6/22 to Sunday, 9/11/22.
This semester, we are introducing a social hour during the student panel! The social hour allows attendees to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments while chatting with other attendees. Additionally, the student panel is an opportunity for graduate students to hear the experiences of recent graduates and ask questions about the process.
