The Congress of Graduate Students (COGS) is looking for students interested in using their voice to represent the graduate student body. COGS<http://sga.fsu.edu/cogs.shtml> is the official representative body of graduate students at Florida State University and yearly allocates over $500,000 by funding graduate student organizations, graduate initiatives, and supporting conference travel through its presentation and attendance grant programs.

We currently have 3 seats open in your academic department and would love for you to share this opportunity with your graduate students. COGS only meets twice a month on Monday evenings beginning at 6:30pm, and does events each semester to bring the graduate student community together. It is a wonderful opportunity for a graduate student who wants to get involved and advocate on behalf of their peers.

I have attached a flyer with our open seats and our prospective representative packet to be shared with students. Please let me know if you have any questions.
