  *   Last day to submit doctoral dissertation or treatise for pre-defense format review.

Tuesday, June 15:

  *   Early Disbursement Financial Aid available via EFT.

Friday, June 18 (summer session B):

  *   Last day of classes.
  *   Last day to reduce course load, if permitted, by the Academic Dean.
  *   Last day to apply for AA Degree at the Office of Undergraduate Studies, UCA 3400.

Saturday, June 19 - 24 (summer session C):

Join FSU Libraries for a Summer 2021 Dissertation and Thesis Bootcamp and Writing Retreat in June 2021!

The Dissertation & Thesis Boot Camp, scheduled for June 21st & 22nd, is a series of workshops featuring speakers from FSU Libraries and FSU Counseling and Psychological Services.

The Virtual Writing Retreat, scheduled for June 23rd – 30th, is moderated and structured writing time throughout the week. These writing sessions provide Dissertation and Thesis scholars the tools and strategies they need to complete their manuscripts, while also building a community for everyone to reach their goals. Sessions are hosted by FSU Libraries in collaboration with the Reading Writing Center.

Erika Fundelius (Special Education: Visual Disabilities Ph.D.) was selected by the Council for Exceptional Children - Division on Visual Impairment and Deafblindness (CEC-DVIDB) as the recipient of the 2021 DVIDB Research & Practice Grant. Her dissertation research focuses on current working knowledge of self-determination and instructional strategies used for instruction of self-determination by teachers of students with visual impairments.
