  *   Registration for Summer and Fall 2020 begins.
  *   Last day to submit doctoral dissertation or treatise for pre-defense format review.
March 16 - 20: Spring Break!

  *   Residence Halls close Mar. 14, 2020 at noon. Residence Halls reopen Mar. 22, 2020 at noon.

Program: Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies

I am a two-time graduate of Florida A & M University with both a bachelor's and master's degrees in Political Science. I am also an adjunct instructor at Tallahassee Community College. I chose to pursue the ISLT program initially because I was trying to close some training design and development gaps in my career. I worked in a technical procedure writing and training development unit for several years and we were not doing a good job with how we designed training and performance support documents. I felt like we had gaps, but no one knew how to close them, so I decided along with a handful of my friends (who were also my co-workers) to enroll in the ISLT program to close those gaps. My time at FSU has been amazing. I am learning and applying everything from this program in both my roles as an adjunct instructor and in state government where I work full-time.

Women's History Month: Womxn's Sexual Health with CHAW

During the month of March, the Women Student Union and the Florida State community celebrate Women's History Month! We are excited to again share in celebration with our communities this year. The students have planned a curriculum of events designed to create space to think critically, reflect on modern womanhood, celebrate the achievements of the past 100 years, and raise our voices. This year's theme, Valiant Voices, invokes strength from the past and hope for the future as women use their voices to speak up for themselves and for one another.

There are so many opportunities to engage with WSU this year! Events will cover topics of demystifying women's sexual and reproductive health, and Title IX and understanding its broad definitions for campus equality, to name a few. The Her Voice magazine launch serves as a creative outlet and celebration of women's voices and unique stories. There are opportunities to engage with women's intersectional identities during our Book Talk and movie night, and a celebration of women, leadership, and life at the annual Ladies' Legacy Banquet!

Enjoy a culturally enriching lunch hour eating authentic food, listening to music, and meeting students from the BSA.

This student-centered program was designed to increase awareness and appreciation of the cultural diversity on our campus. Enjoy this unique experience in The Globe Dining Room for just $10 per plate (cash or check only).
Global Cafés serve both as a cultural experience for the campus community as well as a fundraiser for partnering student organizations. The program runs from 11:30 am until food runs out.

Two Counseling and School Psychology Ph.D. students published in the March issue of the National Career Development Association e-zine.
