Dear COE Graduate Students,

As you may know, this semester FSU is transitioning to a new IRB system. This system includes a Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) Toolkit<https://www.research.fsu.edu/research-offices/human-subjects/investigator-resources/hrpp-toolkit/> to aid with the development and management of IRB protocols (research permission requests). Beginning on April 20th, a new research protocol document (research permission form) utilizing the toolkit template will be required for all new research requests submitted to the IRB.

In order to help COE faculty and graduate students learn about the new research protocol document and the HRPP Toolkit, the Office of Human Subjects will be conducting a workshop here in the college next Thursday, April 18th, 1:30 – 3:00 PM in room 1203, Stone Building. If you will eventually be seeking permission to conduct research here in the College of Education, I would like to encourage you to attend this event. I hope you will do so. Thank you.
