Dear Colleagues!

The CORE committee would like to remind you to apply for a CORE travel grant and/or the Robert M. Gagne Outstanding Research Prize. Both are linked to the COE’s spring Marvalene Hughes Research in Education (CORE) Conference. This year it will be held on April 18, 2014, with an opening reception during the afternoon of Thursday, April 17. Prize winners are announced at the event, and all travel grant awardees also present at the CORE conference. Save the date!

Directions for applying (and the link to the SharePoint application form) can be found HERE<http://www.coe.fsu.edu/Faculty-Staff2/Faculty-Staff-Resources/Council-on-Research-in-Education-CORE/2013-2014-CORE-Application-Directions> or by visiting the CORE webpage at http://coe.fsu.edu/CORE. Applications are due by 5pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 (that’s next week!). Remember the online application now provides an electronic notice to your department travel manager to enter the required travel authorization needed for insurance coverage and CORE reimbursement eligibility.

Please contact your department CORE representative if you have any questions!
