All - this just in. The annual faculty recruiting memo.
Please be thinking about this in terms of fulfilling the dept and university mission and dept. need (teaching/service/research/mentoring).

Please review the guidelines laid out in the memo as we will need to answer them for each individual line requested.

This is not due until May. We have time to finish up this recruiting cycle, which will give us a clearer picture of the direction we should take.

Department Chairs,

See the attachment for the dean’s annual call for tenure-track faculty recruitment plans.  Though we have not yet completed this year’s round of faculty recruiting, it is necessary to begin planning for next year’s budget.  Please submit your recruiting plans to me by 5/20/24, so I can compile them for the dean and associate deans.
