Hi all,

I wanted to clarify and amend the email from last week about reporting issues. If you are concerned about a student (whether a peer or a student you are teaching), go to report.fsu.edu. If you believe a faculty member has acted improperly, go to report.fsu.edu. I have heard concerns from students and there is a limit to what I can do when I hear something second hand. Using report.fsu.edu ensures that you are getting directly to the staff/administrators that can help you directly. Again, if you want to remain anonymous, you are protected via FERPA laws. Please feel free to reach out to me (again, in confidence) if you also want to let me know what's happening, but I wanted to let you know that my hands are tied in some cases and, almost always, the folks in the university that can help with your concerns about students/faculty need to hear from you directly.
